Jessica & George's Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel Wedding

Jessica & George are an ultra cool, hip & modern couple. From their sporty black convertible to the clothes they wear to George's cool hair... these guys are just plain Cool! With that said, what better venue to host their wedding than the ultra trendy and sheik Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. From the early part of last century to today, the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel has been one of the hot spots to see and be seen in Hollywood. Often frequented by Hollywood elite this hotel has been in my wedding shoot locations wish list since I first moved to LA. Well... my wish has been granted! For Jessica & George as well as myself, it was very important to capture the essence and energy of Hollywood in the images we created on that day. I honestly believe we succeeded. I am totally stoked about how their pictures are turning out... I'm still in the early stages of post production but have found some real gems already; some of them are included in this posting... I hope you will enjoy them!

I recently learned a new lighting technique which I put to use while shooting this wedding and have found the results to be quite impressive. I'm sure that with time and practice the images I create with this technique will only get better, I can't wait!

Here's to you Jessica & George... stay forever cool and may you live happily ever after!

P.S. There happened to be a HUGE celebrity in attendance (sort of...) at Jessica & George's wedding. See if you can spot him. Here is a hint... he hates to tan! ;-)

Joleen & Chris' 10 x 10 Asukabook Wedding Album

I totally dig the days when I receive my clients wedding albums, kinda feel like a little kid just before the holidays. I guess it is because the wedding album is the ultimate keepsake from a wedding I've shot. Soooo... that said, Joleen & Chris' wedding album has finally arrived. If you are into high end magazine style wedding albums, then you may want to consider Asukabook. The book comes in a custom designed case, features top grain leather and the paper is available in several finishes. I personally love the glossy finish, that combined with a modern and simple design, makes for a SWEEEEET album!

Jo and Chris.... I know you'll love your album, can't wait for you to see it in person!

Point Vicente Light House, Korean Friendship Bell, Manhattan Beach Engagement Session

Tommy and Dawn are not only a great couple but they are also good friends. Their energy is catching and while our engagement session was taking place, their happiness with each other was totally obvious! They are both big photography buffs AND Tommy is a film maker, needless to say, we were bouncing around ideas for our shoot weeks before it actually took place. Even though it was windy and a bit chilly (by Southern California standards!), we were still able to walk away with some really fun shots! They will be getting married this coming August so stay tuned for the wedding images!

Laura & Rob's Wedding Featured

The folks at Para Ti Novia are awesome. They've recently featured some of my images on their blog, and now they are featuring one of my weddings on their main site. I couldn't be happier! Click here to take a look!

My Ring Images Featured

As a photographer, it is always rewarding when your images get noticed. Such was the case late this January. I was contacted by the folks at Paratinovia.com, an all about weddings website geared toward the latin american bride. They contacted me to ask my permission to feature several of my images on their blog, specifically, the blog post was regarding wedding rings.... of course I said YES! Click here to take a look!

Disney Opera House Shoot

This past Sunday I had the pleasure of being part of a really neat event. It is called "LA Shoot This!" and it is a photography group that gets together on a regular basis. This particular shoot took place at the Disney Opera House and brought together photographers, models and makeup artists; all who played a part in the production of this shoot.

As many of you probably know, it has been raining cats and dogs here in LA this week, and Sunday was no exception! It rained through the entire shoot. No one seemed phased by the rain though, as photographers, models and makeup artists braved the rain and got the shot! I actually liked the fact that it was raining as it made me approach the shoot in a completely different way.

Above are a few of my favorite shots, I hope you enjoy them.
